Sabancı University Executive Development Unit (EDU) hosted the UNICON (The International University Consortium for Executive Education) European Meet-Up in Istanbul on September 9–10, 2026, bringing together professionals working in executive education programs at the world’s leading universities.
Held under the theme "Bridging Worlds: Collaboration in Executive Education," the two-day gathering united executive education professionals from 14 different European universities on the Sabancı University Tuzla Campus and The Seed at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum.
Throughout the program, participants explored the schools' perspectives on collaboration, identified opportunities and areas for joint development, and discussed future collaborative prospects. Through group activities and knowledge-sharing sessions, attendees had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of peers working in the same field at different institutions, discuss new approaches, and collectively evaluate diverse perspectives on the future of executive education.
For Sabancı University Executive Development Unit—UNICON’s first and only full member in Türkiye—hosting the European Meet-Up in Istanbul served as a significant event that strengthened the exchange of knowledge and experience with the international executive education community, paved the way for new collaborations, and bolstered Sabancı University’s international visibility in this field.
